Community Services for Sight is to support and promote the interests of people who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise disabled, and to prevent blindness throughout Southern Luzerne, Carbon, and Schuylkill Counties.
Community Services for Sight offers a low cost eye glass program to individuals on a fixed income. The program is by appointment and requires the individual to have an eye examination and a copy of his or her prescription from the eye care professional. If individuals are unable to afford the cost of the glasses Community Services for Sight will look for funding on their behalf once they have completed an application and have shown proof of all HOUSEHOLD income and HOUSEHOLD expenses.

I love camp because it allows us to make lots of great friendships, learn how to help one another, and gain skills to be independent while having fun doing it.
Camp means a lot to me, were one little family n just like a pack of wolves, we stick together no matter what
Camp Sight is important to me because the people, places, and experiences make me feel like I am a part of an appreciative family, to feel like a normal person, to be accepted in this modern society in which everyone is judged.
Camp Sight Is and was A great experience for me! I met many Great people over the years as well. Everyone including Lori. Worked so hard to keep it running. And still is, till this day. Everyone Especially Lori went through the bad to the good to, where it is now. I thank her so much!
Camp is important to me because I get to learn new things to help me see and do things by myself. Also I get to meet people like me with a vision problem which is pretty neat.
